Request for order picking
Thanks to the tool Order picking, the clients of your website can let you know beforehand about the necessity of order picking. Later, when the client visits your store, all that is left to do for your managers is to hand over the ordered parts.
The request is submitted in the section My orders of the client’s profile. If the items for the order picking are available, the user can see the following notification: “There are items ready to pick up. Submit the request for items procession and we will have them ready by your arrival.” There is also the link Submit a request. The client, their manager and the website administrator get the respective email notification with the list of items for picking.
The new action Order picking is added to the field Action over selected/ displayed items in the section Online store ► Orders ► Items in orders. After the action is enabled, the client and the website administrator get an email notification that the order is ready to pick up.
You can set the parameters of picking the items in the new subsection Order picking in the section Settings ► Settings of preset pages.
